Drones who use the DJI GO 4 application
Problem
Range is limited to 50 meters range and 30 meters height.
Cause
- The drone, app or radio has not been updated and / or the new terms as of 06.07.2017 has not been approved.
- The application has failed to update itself with the new terms.
(Android app version 4.1.2, iOS 4.1.3)
Solution
For now there is no official solution from DJI, but the steps below has proven to correct the error.
- Update app and firmware.
- Reinstall app
- While connected to the internet, log out of the DJI GO App, then log back in.
- If you are using iOS app, try logging in on an Android unit and vice versa.
